Tamilnadu and Hindi

 Let's start with the basics.....

Till date there are totally 29 States and 7 Union Territories and each of them has their own native Language or Mother tongue.

If you go through the below list then you can understand that Hindi is not a Mother Tongue or Native Language of any of the States or Union Territory but just a common language.

When you learn Hindi you can converse across India without any problem. I don't understand why TN feels that somebody is thrusting their own language on them.

Hope a day will come when TN will be open to Hindi :-)

State/Union Territory Native Language

Andhra Pradesh Telugu

Arunachal Pradesh         Nissi / Dafla, Adi

Assam         Assamese, Bodo

Bihar         Maithili

Majhi, Majhwar, Thulung, Tibetan, Yakha, Hindi

Tamil Nadu       Tamil

Telangana       Telugu

Tripura       Bengali

Uttarakhand       Garhwali and Kumauni (both Pahari languages),

                                                      Punjabi, Nepali,Hindi

Uttar Pradesh       Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Braj Bundeli, Bagheli, Hindi

Chandigarh        Punjabi, Hindi

Jammu & Kashmir                         Kashmiri, Hindi, Dogri

Lakshadweep        Malayalam

Puducherry        Tamil

I repeat, Hindi is not a Native Language or Mother Tongue of any State or Union Territory, but just a common langauge using which we can converse with People from different different States.

TRAI - CNAP

" TRAI stands for Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, which is a government organization that regulates telecom services, broadcasting, consumer, UCC, broadband, and spectrum. "

" CNAP stands for Calling Name Presentation, a supplementary service that displays the name of the caller on a phone screen when someone calls. It's similar to Truecaller, another service that shows the caller's name. CNAP is used in US-based telephone networks and is often displayed in Caller ID. The information could be the person's name or a company name. "

In India we have 3 private telcos namely Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone-Idea ( Vi ) and one Govt telco BSNL.

TRAI has recommended that all the telcos should implement CNAP but, private telcos are saying CNAP should not be made mandatory but should be only optional.

CNAP is all about displaying the name of the Caller as per the KYC document submitted at the time of getting the connection. I don't understand why private telcos should be having an objection in implementing this.

Infact, TRAI has also started trails in Mumbai and Haryana and expecting it to implement gradually in all the other States sooner or later.

In my opinion, CNAP should be made mandatory by all the telcos, which will help in curbing pesky and blank calls. Hope this feature will be LIVE soon.

Mind Speaks - 2

जब खोने के लिए कुछ नहीं होता न

 तो पाने को पूरी दुनिया होती है  "

A dialogue from the movie Mumbai Saaga.

A loose translation of this in English.....

When we have nothing to loose, then we have the whole World to win.

Postings of " Mind Speaks " reflects my current mindset.

Note :- There are some minor mistakes in Hindi. It is due to the inconsistencies when English is getting translated to Hindi. I think lack of a proper Hindi keyboard is still a lacuna in the computing World.

Fear Song from Devara Part -1 Lyricists - Ramajogayya Sastry / Manoj Muntashir / Vishnu Edavan

Film                          :- Devara - Part 1

Lyricist in Telugu          :- Ramajogayya Sastry

Lyricist in Hindi            :- Manoj Muntashir

Lyricist in Tamil            :- Vishnu Edavan

Music                         :- Anirudh Ravichander

Singer                         :- Anirudh Ravichander ( Telugu / Tamil / Hindi )

I heard all the 3 versions of this Fear song. Elevation of the Hero character with this song is damn good.

Manoj Muntashir has understood the context and concept of this song upto 60 % and done justification to the Hindi lyrics.

My knowledge in Tamil is limited only to colloquial Tamil and hence not able to understand the Tamil literature of this song penned by Vishnu Edavan. I think even Tamil version of this song is equally good thinking that Ramajogayya Sastry and Anirudh would have helped Vishnu in understanding the context and concept of this song. A Tamilian will be right person to comment on Tamil lyrics.

Producers would have told Anirudh that it is a Title Song, it is a Mass Song and it is for Jr.NTR. So better he comes up with good music for this song that can catch the pulse of Jr.NTR Fans.

No doubt, Music and Voice of Anirudh has added the required spice to this song. Surprising thing is that he had sung in all the three versions without compromising on the accent and slang. His facial expressions indicate that he had understood the lyrics upto some extent in Telugu and Hindi. You have to see Anirudh’s facial expressions especially in Hindi and Telugu :-) I had limited my links only to Lyrical Videos.

There are some spelling mistakes in all the lyrical videos but these are the closest that I can get for lyrical videos.

Fear Song - Telugu Lyrics in Telugu

Fear Song - Telugu Lyrics in English by T- Series

Fear Song - Hindi Lyrics in English by T-Series

Fear Song - Hindi Lyrics in English

Fear Song - Tamil lyrics in English by T-Series

For Anirudh's expressions in Hindi version :-)

I think Anirudh has arrived as a Music director, pan India.

Concept of this song is, Hero questioning the concept of Fearlessness.

To put in layman terms….

“ You may be Brave but you have to be afraid sometimes….bole tho Darna Zaroori Hai “

Usually Music Director and the Singer bags all the limelight and the Lyricists gets confined to the background. Lyricists should get their due recognition. It is very tough to write lyrics for a song-for a dubbing movie because the Context, Lyrics and Music of the Original version would have already been finalised.

Last but not the least, don’t forget the Lyricists name. They should get their due recognition.

Mind Speaks - 1

हार भले ही हो

  मैं लड़के हारना चाहती हु "

A dialogue from the movie Vedaa.

A loose translation of this in English.....

Even if the defeat is inevitable, I would like to fight it out and loose.

Postings of " Mind Speaks " reflects my current mindset.

Bucket List revisited

 Bucket List 2008

I am revisiting the Bucket List after 16 Years. That is quite a time.

I was matured then and I am matured now thus narrowing down to only three items

1st Item :-

Not in my hands.

Jo Tha, Jo Hai aur Jo Rahega sab Khuda ki den hai.

Chalo dekthe hai is item ka kya hoga.

2nd Item :-

It may sound easy and a simple task but, I am not yet ready to take this responsibility of owning a Pet. Only once I am fully ready to take this responsibility, I will. So, I am parking this item for the time being.

3rd Item :-

This is the biggest task of all the three items. Lot many things have to fall in place for me to initiate this task. Don’t know what will happen. Let’s see.

4th Item :-

Dont' know :-)

Sometimes I am afraid, I will not be able to achieve any of these. Let's see.

Ek post tho PSPK ke liye bantha hai Yaar :-)

 Long Story cut Short.....

2014 Elections - His Party didn't contested but supported TDP and BJP.

2019 Elections - His Party contested in all the 175 MLA seats but won only one seat. He himself contested in two seats but lost both very badly.

2024 Elections - His Party contested in 21 MLA seats (out of 175) and 2 MP seats (out of 25) in alliance with TDP and BJP. His Party won all the 21 MLA seats and 2 MP seats that it contested. Means, strike rate is 100 %.

That's a Journey of 10 Years to leave a mark in Politics even though if it is a humble beginning. He knows very clearly that Fan base is different and garnering Votes from Public is different.

It reminds me of a conversation between Rana and PK from the film " Bheemla Nayak " which is a remake of a Malyalam Film " Ayyappanum Koshiyum ". We will never forget the dialogues if it is from Trivikram Srinivas. Downhere is the snippet of that video.

Neeku Aapaleni Yuddham Istha

Just a loose translation of it in English.

" Do you know that Mughal Emperor Ghajini Mohammed fought 17 battles and lost all. We don't remember who won but we only remember Ghajini Mohammed who lost, why because he is not afraid of fighting the battles. He is not bothered about who wins or who looses. Mai bhi Same to Same. The more you try to crush me down, the more I will rise and will give you a battle that you can't stop."

One of his dialogue says " Sometimes I may be late but I will come, that is for sure ".

Raavadam Maatram Pakka

His Party name is Janasena, his name is Konidela Pawan Kalyan and we call him PSPK ( Power Star Pawan Kalyan ). :-)
