Well.....I can say the year 2009 went fine in all aspects.
Never in my dreams I thought I will become a frequent flyer :-).

14 Year Old Girl
Lot many would have blogged about this and lot many in the coming days will do too.No need of retelling the whole story with their respective names,which is running LIVE on all the news channels since a week.
Can we call this Horror Cop a Paedophile ?
Buddy,she is just 14 year Old and he is a DGP
He used/using his influence,power against a 14 year old girl and her family to retract her complaint.
Buddy,she is just 14 year old and he is a DGP.
He let the hardcore goons to intimidate her to retract her complaint
Buddy,she is just 14 year old and he is a DGP.
He jailed her bro on false charges,used 3rd degree treatments on him to make his sister retract her complaint.
Buddy,she is just 14 year old and he is a DGP.
He Paraded her bro handcuffed infront of her house to intimidate her to retract her complaint.
Buddy,she is just 14 year old and he is a DGP.

Finally she succumbed to the Pressure and committed suicide to save her brother and her family.
Buddy,she is just 14 year old and he is a DGP.
For a 14 yeard old this is too much to handle and everyone of us here can empathise with the kind of mental stress and unsurmountable tension that this little girl was forced to.It just sends shiver down my spine if I try to imagine myself in this 14 year old girl's shoes.
And after 19 years this former DGP was given mere 6 months sentence in jail (let out on bail now ) and Rs.1000/- fine.Now,Politicians and Cops are busy passing on the blame.
It's high time we consider imposing the kind of barbaric punishments that Middle East countries follow for such crimes.

Long way to go Buddy........

I always wonder why people resort to such violence targeting innocent people just because they belong to a particular religion or follows a particular faith.Why we fail to understand that it is one or a few Individual's bullshit dogmatic principles that lead to a leader's Murder or some other sort of violence but not the religion or faith.
Recently I saw a movie and would like to mention a dialogue which goes like this....
"Insaan ke naam mey, log Mujhab dhoondthe hai....."

Peace Loving Country
Now,What the hell is this ?
Sometimes I really feel that the entire world is depriving us the right to be aggressive by referring to our nation as a Peace Loving Country.Once we are tagged with such a tag it becomes our responsibility to live up to it irrespective of what others are doing to us.I do believe that War is not the solution for everything but still really I don't understand why every neighbouring Country wants a piece of our land.
