Yeh Jism from Jism 2 / Lyricists - Manish Makhija & Arko

“ ये जिस्म है तो क्या, ये रूह का लिबास है

   ये दर्द है तो क्या, ये इश्क़ की तलाश है

   फ़ना किया मुझे, ये चाहने की आस ने

   तरह-तरह शिकस्त ही हुआ “

Urdu is a beautiful language with many beautiful words. When we listen to such words we will feel we are at Peace. Let's, learn a bit of Urdu too....

 जिस्म                :- Body

 रूह                  :-  Soul

लिबास              :-  Cloth that covers the body

 फ़ना                 :-  Destroy

शिकस्त             :-  Defeat

If these lines kindled the interest about lyrics in you, then watch the below given Lyrical Video.

Yeh Jism from Jism 2

Film                       :- Jism 2

Lyricist                   :- Manish Makhija, Arko

Music Composer   :- Arko

Singer                    :- Ali Azmat

Kindly, don’t forget that the lyricists are Manish Makhija and Arko.

Finally, Lyricists should get their due recognition.

Note :- There are some minor mistakes in Hindi. It is due to the inconsistencies when English is getting translated to Hindi. I think lack of a proper Hindi keyboard is still a lacuna in the computing World.

Alive ?

Would like to know if the concept of blogging is still alive or not.

As it is quite a time I  just checked if I have to update About me in the Profile or " On the Wall ".

Luckily whatever I had put years back in those sections is still relevant even today and nothing to be updated in those sections.

I used to follow only a few blogs which can be counted on fingers. Unfortunately some of those blogs no longer exists. Seems People have moved on :-)

As usually, I am a guy who gets stuck in the past and refuses to move on. There should be a English word for that. I have to find it.

Even today I get dreams that Final Year exams are nearing and I have to start preparing for that or tomorrow is Cyber Security Paper etc. God only know how I passed Cyber Security Paper :-) :-)

Let's see , if I will get a reply from any of my blogging buddies.

Koi Dekhe Ya na Dekhe

Koi Padhe Ya na Padhe

Mera Blog ka Safar tho Jaari Rahega

Chalo, Phir Milthe Hi

MHRD+UGC+NAAC+AICTE = ? ? ?

1.Central University

2.State Univeristy

3.Deemed Univeristy

4.Private University.

5.Foregin University ( in Future)

Above is the classification of Universities that Indian Higher Education Sector follows. The recent blanket ban on 44 Deemed Universities and talk shows that were aired on NDTV made me to think into what actually it is required for an Insitution to get a Deemed University Status. In layman terms, I understood that an Institution which is serving the education sector by providing good Quality Education complemented by research activities consistently over a period of years can be considered to be given a Deemed University Status. In addition to this there might be many other benchmarks, rules & regulations that UGC looks into to before conferring a Deemed Univeristy status.

If we take a look at some of the Colleges which were conferred Deemed University Status, none needs Rocket Science to understand that Vitamin-M is the only parameter that UGC has looked into to confer a Deemed Univ status to them. Thanks to the Yashpal Committee/Tandon Committee which highlighted the fact of mushrooming DUs' across the Country and the compromise on Quality of Education. Both the Committees have highlighted the facts that some of the Deemed Universities lack basic infrastructure, flout the rules on no.of intake,no faculty, offering odd branches of Studies, Capitation fees and many more.Considering all those parameters,no doubt that some of the Institutions should be scrapped of their Deemed University Status. There is no second thought on that.

But,if the same benchmark/parameters are applied to State Universities as well then how many of the Arts & Science/Engg Colleges that are affiliated to State Universities or say State Universities themselves satisify those parameters ?

Does that mean State Universities are going to de-affiliate all those colleges ?

Does that mean MHRD is going to revoke State University Status to all those State Universities which are not upto the mark ?

Does that mean the system of Affiliation/Accreditation/State Universities itself is crap ?

I feel that the concept of Deemed University is not wrong but just the implementation of the Concept is.Scrap the erring Deemed Universities left and right but not the Deemed University concept and also exercise due diligence while conferring a DU status in the future. At the same time it will be double the nice if Govt.takes a look at the Quality of the State Universities and take some strict corrective measures.Atlast,it is all about Education.

It is high time for the Indian Govt to take a crystal clear stand on Private Universities which can bring in a lot of Education-Industry Colloboration which is the need of the hour.

Fate of pass-outs from IISER uncertain.

Blunder after Blunder from MHRD.Why don't they consider such bills or acts on priority and sort it out irrespective of the Parliament Session disruptions. For info,no Private Organisation/body/Trust Profit oriented or Non profit oriented is allowed to have the word  "India" in their name.Such is the importance of tagging the word "India".If the state of educational instiutions like "Indian Instituion of Science Education and Research" is like this,I really doubt the Govt's commitment to cleanse the Education system in the Country.

Setback for Deemed Universities

No relief for Deemed Universities

If they are going to be run as affiliated colleges of State run Universities,What's the fate of the ex and current students  of these Deemed Universities?

Will UGC norms review help 44 deemed universities escape de-recognition?

Another experiment ?

Seems Students are more or less like some animals which are used for drug research untill they find out the right dose for the right drug.

Bucket List

Just a few days back I came to know that there is something called BUCKET LIST ie a list of the things one would like to accomplish before dying.Going by the definition of that word I had decided to list only the things which I wish to accomplish at any cost before I die thus, narrowing down the list to a count of three.

1.To live up to the age of 94*
2.To have two dogs as pets , one is a Labrador and the other one a German Shepherd.
3.A Dream House.
4.Visit ERS.

Yes,the above mentioned are the things that I wish to accomplish before I die.Yes,I am sure of that, there is nothing less nothing more to that.

A tribute to Yamaha RX 100

Technical Specifications:-
1.2 Stroke
2.4 Speed Gearbox
3.Top Speed- 115 kmph
4.Fuel Efficiency - 30-35 km/litres (who cares when it is YAMAHA)

It was in 1980s the Indian Govt decided to allow Foreign manufacturers to sell bikes in India, partnering with existing Indian Companies.Yamaha has partnered with Escorts to release the Yamaha RX100 2 stroke bike with 13bhp which was considered as the best then in terms of handling, pickup and top speed.I add even THE BEAT to that list.

But the strict emission norms enforced by the Govt of India in mid 90's has lead to a ban on 2 storke vehicles. The last 2 stroke vehicle released by Yamaha in India was Yamaha RX135 -135cc,5 Speed.

My love for this Bike has made me to do a bit Googling which got me quite a lot of interesting info.My search started as usually with BRAND and its meaning and thus ended with its history.

Let's take a look at what actually the word YAMAHA means in Japanese......

First character 'YAMA' means a mountain. Next character 'HA' means a leaf or leaves. So, YAMAHA means 'mountain leaves' in Japanese.

For more on info on KANJI (alphabets in Japanese) check the below given link

Yamaha India

Even today this RX100 can give a tough competition to any of the bikes running in India in terms of Speed,Pickup and the last but not the least THE BEAT.It is this beat that made or rather I say still making Guys to go crazy .Not a big surprise that even today this bike has got a good market value in the Second Hand Market. And the most important thing, it is the only bike which can carry off very well any kind of alteration, annnnnny kind of.. say a cut in the muffler, small sized handle, raised mud guards, double colour to the Petrol Tank, double speedometer, you name it, this bike will carry off with Elan.

The very first bike that I ever got to ride is Yamaha RX 100 :-) but, I deeply regret that I couldn't own one :-(.

If I have to own one now,I have to content myself with a second hand one. But,still it's worth it.
